Chad Young is a creative and dedicated visionary. From a young age, Chad has been fascinated with film and storytelling. After studying cinema in college, he was hired at a TV station where his love for the profession grew. Now he seeks to bring his knowledge and expertise to new heights through his continued passion.
Growing up, Chad‘is family would attempt to unwind each night by watching a movie or show. His father also was heavily involved in theatrical productions usually in the form of a Director. This fostered a deep love for the stage and taught Chad that a production was more than just the actors onstage. While his dad put on show’s, Chad would help by placing lights, painting props, and any other work the show needed.
Deciding in college that he wanted to study film, Chad first wanted to be an Actor, but through several classes and opportunities learned he loved Directing and Scriptwriting. He soon got a job at Spanish Fork Channel 17. There he learned how to put the technical skills learned to practical use through editing, interviewing, and even directing programs such as their cooking show Cooking Made Easy.
From there he continued to study, learn, and take on other projects. While he still continues to work with Channel 17, he is ready to move forward with his career. He now seeks new opportunities and projects that will not only increase his own skillset, but allow him to collaborate with other professionals.
Having always felt a passion for the “big screen,” Chad hopes to one day be able to work on big films and quality shows. He anxiously engages with any step forward that will lead to his goal. By looking at where his passions came from, the experience he has gained, and what drives him, Chad knows that he will be an asset to any who he is blessed to work with.
